  1. What a great guy! I have always craved his sound and have to play a Fixx tune, he is so unique! So glad to hear him talking, while preparing a meal in his home. It doesn’t get any more genuine than that. Thank you for this fantastic interview!

  2. His “Life’s too short to be a dickhead…” is CLASSIC! He is also quite right! Life IS too short to be a dickhead! I wonder who he was referring to. I’ve been a FIXXture since high school. Jamie West Oram has not always been one to like being interviewed. So, it’s good to see an interview from him.

  3. I’ve been fortunate to have seen the Fixx numerous times and had even met the band on two deepest occasions. Jamie always had time to talk to this starry eyed guitar player. A very generous and genuine person with his time and musical advice. I’ll take that a step further and say that the entire band was incredibly gracious and down to earth. This is one of the times I was very happy to meet my heroes
