Mattias “Matte” Gustafsson Interview – Siena Root, Lisa Lystam Family Band – Everyone Loves Guitar #277

At 18, Matte was touring Europe with a successful metal band that had just cut their first CD which took off. But his love of the blues made him realize his heart was no longer in it, and he quit the band, to start all over – working small, local blues clubs in the Stockholm area. But it paid off a short while later when he was asked to join Siena Root, a leading psychedelic blues rock band that already had 5 successful albums under their belt at that time
